The Blended Intensive Programme “Next Gen Business Skills: Integrating AI and Human Expertise” brought together international students from Lisbon, Frankfurt, and Salzburg in March 2025. Working in interdisciplinary teams, they tackled real-world business case studies, visited leading companies like PwC and Code for All, and experienced both the future of work and the vibrant spirit of Lisbon.
The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Next Gen Business Skills: Integrating AI and Human Expertise” at ISCAL – Lisbon Accounting and Business School was a great success! From March 3–14, 2025, 29 international students from Lisbon (ISCAL), Frankfurt (Frankfurt UAS), and Salzburg (FH Salzburg) gathered in the Portuguese capital to explore the world of artificial intelligence and business skills together.
Under the guidance of Arno Kinzinger and Wolfgang Irlinger from the Department of Business Intelligence, Digitalization and Science, interdisciplinary teams worked on a compelling case study that served as the central theme of the program – from the initial concept to the final presentation.
Students also had the opportunity to gain valuable real-world insights, with company visits to PwC and Code for All in Lisbon, as well as lectures from renowned experts in business, academia, and IT.

Beyond the academic experience, the program also featured a diverse social and cultural agenda – including a first-ever kitesurfing adventure for some of the FH Salzburg students.
